Allison has a BS degree in Child
Development and Family Studies from UNC-Greensboro. She has met the state-mandated
requirements and achieved Level 3 Director status, the highest possible
certification in North Carolina. Her other certifications include an NC
Early Childhood Credential and an NC Early Childhood Administrative Credential.
Allison has worked in child care for about 10 years, starting out as a preschool
teacher in 1996, then becoming an Assistant Director for several years before
accepting the position of Director at FPCCDC three years ago.
She lives in Raleigh and shares her home with Dixie, an eight-year-old Brittney
Spaniel.
Gail has worked in child care
for about 23 years, mostly in administration. She served as Director of
a childcare center at Camp Lejeune in Jacksonville, NC for 8 years while
her husband served in the Marine Corps.
She has earned an NC Early Childhood Credential and an NC Early Childhood
Administrative Credential.
Gail and her husband of 32 years, Leon, have two children, Tracey and Alex.
They have lived in Raleigh for the past 10 years.
