Lecture and Demo: Crime and Public Safety
On Monday, March 13 at 6 p.m., Wake County Sheriff Donnie Harrison will
discuss the state of crime and public safety in Wake County and the organization
of his department. Sheriff Harrison will be accompanied by Deputy Bradford and his
partner "Tusca," a yellow lab, who will give a live demonstration of how to "sniff out"
drugs and other foreign substances.
We will have dinner after the lecture. Cost of the meal is $6. Make your reservation
by calling the church office. Try to reserve a space early; we’re expecting great
attendance at this event.
Throughout the year, we offer regular
opportunities for fellowship, growth, and study.
