Exciting book project from the Journey Sunday School Class: copies of an essential collection of prayers of confession and assurances of pardon are available for purchase. All prayers in the collection titled Forgiven: A Yearlong Journey Through Prayers of Confession from the First Presbyterian Church of Raleigh were written by pastors and former pastors of First Presbyterian. Purchase one for a college student, a relative, or a close friend. Read all about it here.
Nov. 19 - Advent Festival 4-6 pm in Memorial Hall. Join us for one of our favorite traditions that brings the whole church together to begin our season of Advent. All ages are welcome and invited.
Nov. 21 - We continue our tradition of sharing a Thanksgiving meal and a time of worship here at FPC. The meal will be at 6 pm and the worship service at 7 pm. Please add to someone else’s joy by bringing some non-perishable food items that can be shared with those in need.
Dec. 3 - Christmas Pageant at 5pm in the Memorial Hall. This beloved tradition that honors both the children of our church and God's greatest gift to us!
Dec. 4 - Quiet Christmas Service at 7pm in the Sanctuary. The holiday season offers unique challenges for many, including the loss of loved ones, loss of employment, or strained family relationships that can leave us feeling emotionally stressed, lonely, or overwhelmed. If these circumstances are part of your realty, consider seeking refuge and strength in this quiet, reflective worship experience.
